Viktor Jusi Palm
.. creates visual worlds where the familiar meets the surreal – fragments of memory, insecurity, and the desire to push beyond comfort. Through sculpture and painting, he builds figures and objects that feel like they belong to a parallel reality, where humor and seriousness coexist.
At the core of his work is Ralph Florange – a humanoid monkey and his alter ego. Without a mouth, Ralph becomes a symbol of identity, communication, and vulnerability. He acts where we hesitate. He dreams, fails, expresses, and evolves – shaped by the worlds he enters, just as we are shaped by our own experiences.
Using layered techniques, bright surfaces, cartoon language, and 3D form, Viktor reflects inner landscapes – both playful and tangled. His work flirts with escapism, pop references, and childlike wonder – not to run away, but to pause reality for a second and poke at what lies underneath.
